A day of reflection

Today was Dierdre’s first day at her new job in La Jolla. Orientation and cases. It’s been raining on and off all day, not hard just a light drizzle which kept me inside. It gave me a chance to take a breath and relax some. The last month has been a whirlwind and I feel like my head has finally cought up with my body! What day is it anyway? Lol

It’s Wierd not prepping for class for the upcoming week. I usually have things I need to do or take in… There’s a habit that will need breaking! I hope the “kids” are doing ok, I know Tom is taking good care of them, but I still can’t help wondering about them.

I have my first meeting with GIA on Monday morning. It’s to handle all of the financial stuff… Yuck…. At least I’ll get to see the campus and get my student ID and parking pass. I can’t wait to get this thing going! I’m like a kid 2 days away from Xmas!!! I’ll take a few pics tomorrow.

  1. Glad you have had a chance to catch your breath. All is well in Havasu. Jim just got me a fridge for my lapidary stuff and that star bond glue… (there is even room for cold water in the fridge. Love yard sales. We are all missing you and love following along with the adventure. We all get to go to GIA via you.
